Wise Zach is dramatically drawn to the arts;
    He gets that from me.

Free-spirited Jace possesses creative curiosity;
    He gets that from me.

Bossy Callie’s boundless imagination ignites sparks of ideas;
    She gets that from me.

Pink-ribboned Abbey’s nurturing nature caringly cuddles;
    She gets that from me.

Rough ‘n tumble Patrick’s courageous heart knows no fear;
    He gets that from me.

Agile Drew runs to explore and races back;
    He gets that from me.

Stormy Megan stands stubbornly on her demands;
    She gets that from me.

Sweet Alyssa mysteriously Mona Lisa smiles,
    She gets that from me.

Baby Will belly-laughs and loves with wild abandon;
    He gets that from me.

Gazing at my grandchildren,
    I see the best of me passed on.
       And I smile that big goofey genetic smile.

                  They get this smile from me.
